GLF Red Butterfly Cell NYU Leaflet

Red Butterfly was a cell within GLF that focused on a Marxist analysis of LGBT oppression and linked it to other movements for social change. In this leaflet they respond to NYU’s decision to cancel gay dances planned for Weinstein Hall.

They describe NYU as a factory for the liberal elite to produce docile white collar workers and connect this to oppressing sexual minorities. Read more about the Weinstein Hall protests in the Timeline and Gay Flames #4.
