“The Flaming Faggots and two other poems of gay rage and beauty”
FALL 1970
This issue includes three poems. The longest, “The Flaming Faggots,” was created by a LES NYC gay male collective of the same name. It draws on the firsthand experiences of a group of gay activist men who were the first open homosexuals to participate in the Venceremos Brigade in Cuba in 1970.
